    1. Bob,

It is the ability of God the Holy Spirit to regenerate the dead soul of the unconverted (John 3:1-8; Titus 3:1-5), enabling such an individual to repent of their sin and to place God-given faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Only God’s power is able to overcome the sinner’s sinful nature and give them new life (Romans 5:1-6; 8:1-3; John 1:12-13; Ephesians 2:1-10; Colossians 2:13).

My apologies for this late reply. Have a blessed day in the Lord.

      Tom
